Hello World!
Welcome to the new TLG blog. Teach and Learn with Georgia has launched this blog in order to form a hub of information for the TLG community. We hope to use the blog to keep our volunteers informed and connected to each other and to the wider community in Georgia.
Take a look around the site. Some parts are still under construction (including the FAQ page, since we haven’t actually been asked any questions yet!) but our staff is hard at work updating the site and creating new content.
Our goal is to eventually have a team of bloggers and guest bloggers to provide new blog posts three to five times per week. Posts will be about the experiences of TLG volunteers teaching and living in Georgia as well as news and events in Georgia that might be of interest to volunteers and the TLG community.
If you’re interested in being a part of our team or in submitting questions, comments, suggestions, or content for the blog, feel free to get in touch with us by leaving us a comment here or look at our Call for Submissions for more specific details.
Thanks for reading!

This is a great site however the georgian title of “frogs croaking” is a tongue twister and means nothing to anyone who has not been living in Georgia for some time. If you save this site to internet browser favorites, the Georgian script is all that is shown. This will not assist those people overseas trying to find information about TLG of which this should be a reference point.

Me again! I would like to recommend the following weather site for Georgia http://www.myforecast.com/bin/expanded_forecast_15day.m?city=W37403&metric=true. When I first came here they had Sachkhere in Russia and I wrote to them and they were very quick to change it. They told me that they got their information from the US Military maps! This site has an easy converter from fahrenheit to celsius for those of us using the metric system and covers all of Georgia and the world with up to 15 day forecasts to help longer term trip plans. There is also another site freemeteo.com which is very good but only in celsius. Just a suggestion instead of just Tbilisi weather. Also could you put up a really good map of Georgia showing roads etc. I have found it very difficult. Thanks!
